Description
Part #: WPX-265-53A
Webasto – Combustion Chamber – WPX-265-53A for Motorhome Hydronic Heating System.
The Combustion Chamber is part of the Diesel Burner System in a Hydronic heating system. The fuel nozzle reduces the diesel fuel into a fine spray which is sprayed into the combustion chamber by a fuel solenoid valve. The ignition coil produces a high voltage spark across the ignition electrode, which then ignites the incoming combustion air/fuel mixture within the combustion chamber. When the Diesel-Burner fires into the Combustion Chamber, it heats the antifreeze and water heating solution in the Boiler Tank.
This thermal expansion can cause small cracks to develop over time creating a need to replace the chamber.
Note: If the Aluminum on the combustion chamber is melted or warped, it is recommended to replace the Flame Sensor along with the Combustion Chamber. These can also be found for a reduced rate in our Aqua Hot – Flame Sensor Service Kit.
Your Hydronic Heating System, whether it is an Aqua Hot, Hydro Hot or Webasto DBW 2010 has a white label with a model number on the heater. This label can be found on the top or on the side of your Aqua Hot, Hydro Hot or Webasto Heating System.
