12V DC Ignition Coil | Webasto – 12VDC Ignition Coil – WPX-101-838
The ignition coil functions as a voltage transformer to provide adequate voltage to the igniter electrodes thereby igniting the diesel fuel cone within the Aqua-Hot’s combustion chamber.
The diesel burner’s ignition coil produces a high-voltage ignition spark (approximately 8000 volts), which is released across the metal tips on the ignition electrodes during the initial diesel burner start-up to ignite the incoming air/fuel mixture.
Your Hydronic Heating System, whether it is an Aqua Hot, Hydro Hot or Webasto DBW 2010 has a white label with a model number on the heater. This label can be found on the top or on the side of your Aqua Hot, Hydro Hot or Webasto Heating System.
