Description

A 3-wire coolant level probe is a sensor designed to monitor engine coolant levels. It features three wires: a power wire, a ground wire, and a signal wire. The power wire supplies energy to the sensor, the ground wire establishes a reference point, and the signal wire transmits coolant level data to the vehicle’s computer or control unit.

Compared to 2-wire probes, 3-wire coolant level probes offer enhanced accuracy and reliability. The dedicated signal wire in 3-wire probes minimizes the risk of noise or interference affecting the signal, ensuring more precise and dependable coolant level readings.
