The Aqua-Hot ELX-G12-07L Electric Heating Element is a 120 VAC, 2000-watt replacement heating element designed for compatible Aqua-Hot hydronic heating systems. The electric element heats the boiler’s antifreeze and water solution, allowing the Aqua-Hot system to provide interior heat and domestic hot water while operating on electric power.
A properly functioning electric heating element allows you to use your Aqua-Hot system without relying solely on the diesel burner when adequate shore power or generator power is available. If your Aqua-Hot system operates normally on diesel but is not heating properly on electric mode, a failed electric heating element may be one of the components that needs to be inspected or replaced.
